Evaluation

Evaluation in this course will be both formative and summative, which means that your child will be completing a variety of projects, tests, and assignments that will be given a grade for a year-end mark, however they will also be continually assessed in class without being given a grade to make sure they understand the material being presented.

In French 2200, the year-end mark is a combination of areas that your child will be evaluated in. These four areas are all worth 25% and shall be a combination of teacher assessment, peer assessment and self assessment as well. The four components are: Reading, Writing, Speaking, and Listening. These topics are all of equal importance to this course.
